Nominations are open for the 2021 Aquatic & Recreation Institute Awards. One of the award categories is the Adam Lloyd Memorial Spirit Award.
In memory of Adam Lloyd this award acknowledges someone who has a generous spirit. The award may be submitted by an employer, colleague, or industry representative. For someone who is generous, giving to their team and solution driven.

Adam Lloyd was a member of ARI NSW and was a Director of International Quadratics Australia (IQ). Adam sadly passed away in March 2021.
IQ was established in 1976 and merged with Pierce Pool Supplies in 2008 bringing two commercial entities synonymous with aquatics together. Adam Lloyd and his father David were always avid supporters of ARI NSW for many years dating back to the late 1990s.
In 2010, Adam Lloyd joined the ARI committee as the Commercial Representative, which was a new position on the committee at the time. In this role, Adam became the voice of the aquatic trade on the committee. He worked tirelessly to improve the relationship between the committee, its members and the industry, and amongst all his peers.

In recognition of Adam Lloyd's passion, dedication and support of ARI NSW and the aquatic and leisure industry as a whole, the Adam Lloyd Memorial Spirit Award has been established. The aim is for the award to be given to someone with a generous spirit and who is dedicated to the industry, just like what Adam was.
