The Aquatics and Recreation Institute NSW applauds the NSW Government’s announcement in the budget of an investment of $44 million into the new Learn to Swim Active Pre-Schooler voucher program.
ARI NSW Chairperson, Nichole Edsall, states, “ARI NSW strongly supports the establishment of the Learn to Swim Active Pre-Schooler voucher program. ARI NSW recognises that it is critical that children have the opportunity to participate in swimming lessons and to learn water safety skills from a young age.
COVID-19 has had a great impact on Learn to Swim schools and this investment represents a significant boost for the sector as it recovers from a challenging year.”
ARI NSW will provide members with more information on the Learn to Swim Active voucher program as more details are released by the NSW Government.
