Macquarie University are looking for enthusiastic and skilled instructors to bring their expertise to our vibrant fitness community! With opportunities to take on regular classes as they grow, this is your chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive environment.
Macquarie University offers a diverse range of classes, including Les Mills programs, freestyle formats, and their recently introduced Reformer Pilates sessions. Whether you're delivering high-energy workouts or mindful movement-based sessions, you'll play a key role in creating an engaging and motivating experience for our members.
What You'll Do:
Deliver engaging and professional Group Fitness classes
Lead with confidence, demonstrating safe and effective techniques
Provide high-level coaching to suit all fitness levels
Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where members feel supported
Play a role in promoting classes and gym events
What You'll Need:
Proven experience leading Group Fitness classes
Current Fitness Registration, First Aid & CPR
Valid Working with Children Check
Certificate III in Fitness (GEL) or equivalent
Accreditation for relevant programs (e.g. Reformer Pilates, Aqua, Zumba/Dance, Boxing, Les Mills)
Strong communication and people skills

About Macquarie University
Based on the Macquarie University Campus, the centre is a multipurpose fitness venue featuring a fully equipped Health Club, an indoor and outdoor heated pool, Group Fitness classes, and a variety of social sport programs. Programs run seven days a week and incorporate participation from the broader community as well as university members.
