ARI NSW is committed to supporting the aquatic and recreation sector in NSW and the ACT and seeks to ensure the workforce is well informed and resourced to welcome all people into the experiences the sector can provide.
Pertinent to this is an awareness that some groups of people are less engaged in experiences provided by the sector, and that some workers in the sector seek guidance in how to welcome, support and include people from these groups.
ARI NSW, in collaboration with AUSactive, Belgravia Foundation, Collective Leisure, Pride in Sport and Royal Life Saving Association - Australia are seeking help from people working in NSW and the ACT to inform us of the support needs of workers and organisations in the aquatics, recreation, leisure and fitness sector related to diversity and inclusion.
Your responses, along with information from other sources, will be used to identify the topics to be included in a Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum, proposed to occur in Sydney in the future.
This short survey is designed to capture your support needs in areas such as training, time, tools, and resources when working with diverse community members. It takes approximately 2 minutes to complete and is anonymous.
