AUSTSWIM Recognises Excellence in Aquatic Education

The AUSTSWIM Awards of Excellence are the premier awards presented to individuals and organisations in Australia and New Zealand that achieve the highest standards of aquatic education excellence, they recognise brilliance, commitment and innovation in the teaching of swimming and water safety.

• 2020 NSW AUSTSWIM Recognised Swim Centre – Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre 

The awards were presented by AUSTSWIM Ambassador Brooke Hanson – OAM at the 2020 AUSTSWIM Awards of excellence virtual awards night on Thursday 26 November. 

AUSTSWIM CEO Carl Partridge said “The national awards were the pinnacle of recognition for swimming and water safety educators. With over 30,000 Licensed teachers and over 600 AUSTSWIM Recognised Swim Centres, AUSTSWIM services the community.” 

A not-for-profit body, AUSTSWIM is Australia’s pre-eminent provider of swimming and water safety teacher training. Its licensed teachers are accredited to the ISO17024 standard and provide an essential link in drowning prevention and safer aquatic participation.
