WINNER: LITTLE TOGGS

The winner of the 2021 Aquatic & Recreation Institute (ARI) Supplier of the Year Award is Little Toggs.

The award is designed to recognise ARI Sponsors and Trade member companies that excel in serving ARI members.  ARI members were eligible to vote for a winner, based on the service they have been provided.

Little Toggs is an Australian owned & run business and the exclusive Australasian distributor for Splash About. They focus on quality wearable swimming nappies for babies and adults with special needs who may require these. Their exclusive ‘Happy Nappy’ product is an Award-Winning nappy and a best seller worldwide.

Little Toggs has built up their success within the Swimming Industry over the last 12 years with over 200 swim schools and leisure centres exclusively using their products across Australia.

The Happy Nappy is the main product of the Little Toggs company and comes with over 25 years of research and experience. Its patented technology gives reliable leak protection. Ergonomically designed to move with the baby as they kick and move about in the water, the Happy Nappy is shaped to cup a baby’s bottom, whilst specialist waist and thigh ribs fit snugly to the child’s body, forming a seal that prevents any solids leaking out.

Another new and improved version of the Award-Winning Happy Nappy has just been released.  This nappy offers a second attached or removable layer with real Silver Lining which forms a natural defense mechanism against bacteria and pathogens including cryptosporidium. The advances in the design of the Happy Nappy meant that finally teachers, schools and pool operators have the very best defense against solid faecal leaks, the addition of Silver Lining takes this defense to a new level of security. After a further 4 years of research, this new nappy was released in October 2021.

It is estimated that approximately 800 MILLION disposable nappies end up in landfill each year in Australia ALONE! The Happy Nappy is guaranteed to last until the baby grows out of it. It comes in various sizes until a child is fully toilet trained. Thus, not just reducing but eliminating disposable swim nappies completely.

The biggest risk within the swim industry is losing pool time. The most common reason for pools being closed or shut down during open hours is due to faecal leaks. This nappy, not only great for the environment, is also conscious of the business need to eliminate pool shutdowns. Further, it also assists in reducing the cost of disposal of garbage for businesses.

The Happy Nappy and similar products in the Little Toggs range are truly a step ahead in its innovative products for the aquatic industry. The company is a conscious company with regard to not just environmental but also business sustenance!

The Supplier of the Year award is sponsored by Para Mobility.
