The winner of the 2021 ARI CHILDRENS PROGRAM AWARD is Swim Experts a program by The Aquatic Educators.
This award recognises community-based programs using aquatic or land-based activities that are enhancing the wellbeing of children in the local community.
Swim Experts is a purpose- built boutique swim school. The Aquatic Educators provide a children’s swimming program that specialises in Infant Aquatics classes for children from 3 to 5 years as well as students from 5 – 10 years.
Swim Experts teaches a range of students from all walks of life. They have a diverse student base with a range of socio-economic backgrounds. Their programs include Baby (Mini's), Toddler/Transition (Mover's), Mainstream (Masters) and Private Lessons including many NDIS students. Statistically, 40% of their Masters’ program is comprised of students with Neurodiverse needs.
The Swim Experts, children’s programs by Aquatic Educators aims to teach children a health respect for the water whilst developing their social, cognitive and physical development skills to achieve age-appropriate goals.
