Latest COVID requirements for Gyms and Pools

A reminder that you need to ensure you have the most up to date safety plan in place at all times.

Following the current COVID-19 health alerts in Sydney, some rules have changed:

Gyms - Ensure the number of people in a facility does not exceed one person per 4 square metres of space (excluding staff).
Classes - A maximum of 30 participants in Greater Sydney or 50 participants outside of Greater Sydney, including the instructor and any assistants, may attend a gym or recreation class in a space that complies with one participant per 4 square metres.
Swimming - Ensure the number of people in a facility does not exceed one person per 2 square metres of publicly acccessible space (excluding staff). In Greater Sydney, indoor areas must not exceed one person per 4 square metres of publicly accessible space.

Note: ‘Greater Sydney’ means Greater Sydney as defined by the Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No 7) 2020.
