As an Aquatic Programs Officer (APO), you’ll play a key role in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of SGAC’s aquatic programs. Reporting to the Aquatic Programs Manager, you’ll be hands-on with program coordination and data-driven decision-making — from managing class schedules and shift coverage to supporting waitlist administration and program retention initiatives.
This role also acts as a vital link between departments, fostering strong internal relationships to ensure programs run smoothly and continue to grow in quality and engagement. You’ll step up during operational periods as a point of escalation and perform supervisory or Learn to Swim duties as required — always with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the department’s values.
You’re a natural organiser with a passion for aquatics and a flair for teamwork. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to administration and program improvement.
