Blacktown City Council’s Key Venues section oversees all council’s aquatic and leisure centres. We deliver first-class activity and program choice, we promote Blacktown City as the leader in sport, recreation and leisure and we give every visitor and customer a safe and memorable experience. Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre Emerton is an award-winning multipurpose facility that offers quality programs and services. Our Centre includes both indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities including 50m and 20m outdoor pools, 25m and program/leisure indoor pools, indoor waterslide and an outdoor warm water therapy pool as well as a 2-court stadium.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join the Key Venues team as a Activity Officer (Duty Manager) on a permanent, full-time basis at Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre Emerton. Activity Officers are responsible for ensuring the effective day to day operations of the centre through the effective use of available resources and adherence to policy and procedures. They will provide a high level of service in line with industry best practice and customer satisfaction.
If you have a Pool Lifeguard and First Aid certificate, aquatic and leisure experience with great leadership, customer service and troubleshooting skills then this is the role for you!

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
