ARI NSW Appoints Karl Kreiss as a New Director The Aquatic & Recreation Institute (ARI) NSW announces today that Karl Kreiss has been appointed to the ARI Board of Directors. ARI NSW Chairperson, Mr. Blanco expressed his excitement for Karl’s appointment, "ARI is thrilled that Karl will be joining the Board of Directors. He brings a wealth of experience from a range of different roles within local government and the private sector that will enrich ARI as an organisation. We extend a warm welcome to Karl, and the Board looks forward to working closely with him in the implementation of ARI’s strategic goals." Karl Kreiss conveyed his enthusiasm on being appointed to ARI’s Board of Directors and stated; “I am excited to be to be joining the ARI Board. I have extensive experience in technical operations, community facilities and business management. For the past 3 years I have worked in the role of Program Leader Aquatic and Leisure Centres with the Blue Mountains City Council. With my experience and love of aquatic sport and recreation, I help deliver aquatic and leisure programs and facilities to the community of the Blue Mountains and their guests. Having worked in both the public and private sector in centre management and for period of time in the aquatic service industry, I have a well-rounded and extensive knowledge of all aspects of the aquatic and leisure industry. I hope to share this knowledge and my love and enthusiasm for the industry to develop strategies for both regional and metropolitan aquatic and recreation providers and in doing so assist the next generation of aquatic and leisure staff". |
